SEASONAL NEW AMERICAN

Chef Matt Storch has been perfecting his Seasonal, Globally-Influenced approach of cooking since Match first opened in the heart of South Norwalk in 1999. Using classic worldly dishes and cooking techniques as the base, Matt twists them into the uniquely creative Match menu that changes daily. In addition to the beloved “Match classics,” we leverage the changing seasonal ingredients we source from nearby Connecticut farms to create dishes that fall into the categories of “Nibbles,” “Smaller Cravings,“ “Pasta,” & even a “For 2” section. Our “New School Raw Bar” is our poached, smoked, and fried take on the traditional raw platters, while “Farm Greens and Veggies” are a reflection of our landscape and seasons. We love cooking with wood and smoke–our wood-fired oven gets a work-out with our signature “Pizettes” and whatever else lands on our doorstep to throw in there! In addition to the ever-changing dinner menu, Matt also creates a new lunch “Pop-Up” menu every two weeks to reflect a place he has worked, traveled to or just loves to eat at!
 

CRAFT COCKTAILS

Our cocktail program is one of a kind in Connecticut. Fresh house-made syrups, juices and bitters anchor our curated list of classic cocktails with a twist as well as the “new school classics.” Bar Manager/Mixologist Adam Patrick brings his encyclopedia like knowledge of all things alcohol to the beverage program night in & night out. You name it, you get it, in his own unique way of course!
